VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities at

KIP Canada. From assisting with program delivery and mentoring to fundraising and community outreach, volunteers are integral to our organization and make a difference in the lives of children affected by parental incarceration. KIP Canada provides ongoing training and professional development opportunities to support our volunteers, foster self-care and optimize the impact of our programs.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT KIP CANADA:

  • Mentor for children in our After-school Program

  • Youth mentor in South Etobicoke, North York and East York regions

  • Indigenous youth mentor for our Wiingashn Youth Mentoring Program

  • Family Support Worker for Family Visitation Program

  • Virtual Support Worker

  • Social media and communications 

  • Community Outreach 

  • Youth Advisory Committee

  • Fundraising and Special Events Committee 

With the support of caring Canadians, we can help to make a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in our country. 

For prospective volunteers who would like to directly work with children and youth who have experienced parental incarceration, please know that we are looking for members to join our team who are available to provide consistent support and make a long-term commitment.
