Breaking the Cycle is a diversion program that uses a strengths-based, trauma-informed and restorative justice framework designed for youth (12-17 years old) who are in conflict with the law and have experienced family involvement in the justice system. Specifically, Breaking the Cycle provides access to ongoing individual and family in-person and virtual support, mandatory 12-week rehabilitative workshops with a complimentary workbook the youth must complete, and follow-up monthly support circles to build protective factors, foster resilience, and reduce rates of recidivism.
